The first ENCUENTRO, summit, for Latin American performance artists living in Europe, 1er ENCUENTRO LATINOAMERICANO de PERFORMANCE ART,  will take place in the city of Berlin, Germany, from August 3rd to the 5th at the independent gallery space ORGAN KRITISCHER KUNST, OKK. Organized and curated by artist Hector Canonge, the program will feature performances by twenty one Latin American artists living and working in Europe.

The ENCUENTRO LATINOAMERICANO de PERFORMANCE ART aims to create new connections that will allow the development of a Latin American performance art community in Europe. More than a festival , the ENCUENTRO (summit) is a great gathering or coming together to share experiences, establish dialogue, and support collaboration among Latin American performance artists residing in Europe.
