The first exhibition of 2018 at the OKK in production with Slovenian Cultural Centre Berlin – presents the works of four internationally acclaimed Slovenian Documentary Photographers – Jaka Gasar, Matej Povše, Matjaž Tančič and Matic Zorman, who took part in documenting the journey of refugees on the Balkan route. They offer four perspectives on still one of the most sensitive political topics in Europe and focus on personal, social and political aspects of migration and further rethink humanity in various ways.
The exhibition also presents a documentary film ‘Welcome to Europe’ made by young German-Slovenian film directors Jakob Krese and Antonia Kilian (Piranja Productions & Tramal Films), who recorded personal stories from individuals and families on the Balkans refugee route.
Welcome to attend the vernissage on 26th of January at 7pm, where you can personally meet the photographers and toast with good Slovenian wine!
