Poema Solo is an experiment with a performative object in order to feature its vivacity as well as the performative operations in every system. It has been presented so far in theater platforms, although with a flexible drammaturgy that with course of the presentation develops itself into a performance. It is of the very interest of the artists groups to display it in a exclusively performance art platform in order to give this object an opportunity to express itself outside of the limitations of the theatrical stage, as to see what kind of relation between the performers shall rise from that.
For the Month of Performance Art-Berlin we are planning to play with the elements of the object as well as with the baggage of the whole creative process of this piece without text or script, focusing on the behaviour of both performer and object in relation to the space and the exhaustion of time. To assure we are tending to explore this piece in a Performance Art sense, we have planned to take the streets of Buenos Aires in April 2013 and try out these possibilities we have already foreseen. The core of this project comes from a long time experience with women in jail. We have aimed to flexibilize the relation between all elements, including the perception frame from “audience”. Therefore instead of alienating with a precise discourse, we believe in a Performance Platform we will expand possibilities of configuration.
