the okk projectgroup is focussing their work to the socialcritical culture. Arts with social- and culturepolitical thematics and the scope of critical forms of expressions should be mobilised and bunched. We are a network which generates the possibility of exchange and discussions in political matters and it reaches from the regional to the international and metanational level.
The okk/room29
is an atelier, experimental- and exibition room, an medial platform of dialogue which offers a place for artistic works in the frame of the „expanded art term“ (Beuys)
Regulary there are exhibitions and artistic events and we invite Artists and Cultural Workers from different genres to present their works. Focus is interdisciplinarity of the projects.
The collectives in the different proyects are working on the edge of Art and Activism.
The room 29 exists since summer 2007 and was used in different ways by international artists. Artists from different disciplines convert the rooms at their own aesthetics.
Since it´s founding there were organized over 40 exhibitions and several cultural events.
